In 2023, we restarted our summer Breakfast Bunch program, which previously ran for ten successful years until it was postponed by the Covid-19 pandemic. This program is hosted Monday through Friday for ten weeks, thus increasing food security for many children in the Northern Lehigh area (Slatington / Slatedale / Emerald / Walnutport).
Each day, breakfast and a bag lunch are provided. All children ages 2–17 from our community are welcome to attend. Traditionally, this has been a successful feeding program, which served 30+ children daily. Breakfast includes a variety of options, such as: bagels, english muffins, pancakes, cereal, fresh fruit, yogurt, milk, and juice. For lunch, the children have their choice of sandwich, snacks (crackers, fruit snacks, cookies, etc), and juice to take home. |

Shrove Tuesday Pancake DinnersOn Shrove Tuesday, March 4, we hosted our second-annual Pancake Dinner! We served pancakes, breakfast sausage, fruit, yogurt, and fastnachts. All free-will donations collected were put towards this summer's Breakfast Bunch program!
